In 30 years of Real Estate, I am constantly enjoying our weekly Realtors tour, and many agents always ask "Why are they Selling? And of course buyers ask the same. So here are a few tongue-in-cheek answers:
“They heard you were wanting to buy their home.”
OR: "My sellers want to know why you are buying."
But one agent's idea takes the cake: “If
they ask me why they are moving I say because they’re selling. If they ask me
why they are selling I say because they are moving, and then we chuckle about
it.”
